Predictability
Your puppy will be backed by a verifiable pure pedigree of Australian Shepherds, not a mix-mash of a Heeler mixed in here or a Pomeranian there. Usually a prospective puppy family is seeking an Australian Shepherd because they have determined that the characteristics of the breed will suit them. Knowing your dogs history and lineage, being able to see his/her parents, grandparents etc offers a benefit and security as to how your pup will mature out. You will know you are getting a breed that exemplifies what YOU want from a dog, rather than an just a cute puppy that could grow up to be something other than what you expected in terms of size, temperament, appearance, and many other factors. We strive to continually better the breed with every generation that we bring into the world.
Socializing
We spend lots of time socializing, caring for, and observing our puppies and therefore, will be able to recommend the puppy most likely to fit best into your life. We brief you on what you need to buy before you bring your puppy home and provide a detailed booklet of information on the breed, health advice and training advice. Your puppy will have been litter-box trained, be accustom it to having its nails cut, its feet trimmed, and its coat brushed. To top it off, our puppies live in the midst of our busy, rambunctious, (and sometimes loud) young family and thus come to you desensitized to almost everything 🙂 All of this gets your puppy off to the best possible start.
Health
We do everything possible to ensure that you have a healthy puppy for a lifetime of enjoyment and companionship. Our adults have been carefully selected through much pedigree research to ensure healthy, vibrant breeding lines with exceptional temperaments. We also genetically health test our Aussies to screen them for any known issues in the breed. Not only do we screen each adult, but we feed only the best to our pack, and have carefully scrutinized our health program to provide the healthiest dogs and puppies that we can. Our goal is to produce puppies that are true to breed standard characteristics and that stand out in a crowd both in personality and beauty.
Breeder Support
As a Blue Buckaroo Puppy owner, you are not only purchasing a beautiful puppy, but also the support, recommendations, health advice and training help of a breeder who is passionate about the breed and wants to see you succeed with your new family member. It is extremely important to us that we maintain a support system for all of our puppy families. We offer detailed instruction in crate training and housebreaking and basic manners.
